Registration Information
- If you are a SNCA member, please log in to your account before registering, so as not to create duplicate emails in the system.
- Registration Closes: May 2, 2025 at 5:00 pm
- Refunds:
-----> Through May 2, full refund.
-----> After May 2, no refunds. In-person registration converts to Virtual.
Cost of Attendance
● Standard (in-person) rate: $80
● Student (in-person) rate: $20*
*Students selected to present (in a session or with a poster) will have their registration fee waived. You will receive a registration code to access the STUDENT PRESENTER RATE - FREE ticketing option. If you purchase a regular Student rate ticket prior to being accepted, please contact SNCA so we can refund your payment.
● Virtual Attendance rate: $30**
**Virtual Attendance is free for anyone residing in the following counties:
○ Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Buncombe, Burke, Caldwell, Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Henderson, Jackson, Macon, Madison, McDowell, Mitchell, Polk, Rutherford, Swain, Transylvania, Watauga, Wilkes, Yancey
-------> If applicable, you will indicate this on your registration form. Please complete registration but do not submit payment. SNCA will verify your information and mark your registration as paid. SNCA reserves the right to require payment for any Virtual - Western County registration that is found to be falsified. This is a kindness to our archivist peers recovering from Hurricane Helene. Please do not take advantage.
What's Included
The Standard/Student rate (in-person admission):
- Admission to the conference
- Breakfast and coffee on May 21 and May 22
- Lunch on May 21
- Admission to the reception, with heavy hors d’oeuvres and two drink tickets, on the evening of May 21
- Option to sign up for the conference workshops*** and repository tours on May 22
***Workshops will be announced at a later date. All in-person attendees will receive a link to sign up at that time. Please note, these are optional events and space will be limited.
Virtual Attendance rate:
- All scheduled sessions of the SNCA Annual Meeting will be livestreamed using WebEx. Registered attendees will be emailed a link for each session before the meeting date.
- Virtual attendees will be able to participate in any discussions and ask questions via a moderated live chat.
- Virtual attendees do not have access to any in-person events, including but not limited to the reception, repository tours, and workshops. There is NO option to purchase access separately to these events. If you want to attend an in-person event, you must purchase an in-person ticket type.
