Standard rate (in-person): $80
Student rate (in-person): $20*

*Students selected to present (in a session or with a poster) will have their registration fee waived.

**Virtual attendance is free for anyone residing in the following counties:

In-person registration costs include admission to the conference, breakfast and coffee on May 21-22, lunch on May 21, and admission to the reception with heavy hors d’oeuvres and two drink tickets on the evening of May 21. Registration also includes the option to sign up for the conference workshops and optional repository tours on May 22.

Attendees may also join the meeting virtually. This year, we will be able to livestream all of the scheduled sessions of the SNCA Annual Meeting using WebEx. Registered attendees will be emailed a link for each session before the meeting date. Virtual attendees will be able to participate in any discussions and ask questions via a moderated live chat, but virtual attendees will not have access to any in-person events. If you plan to attend an in-person event, you must buy an in-person ticket type.

PARKING INFORMATION 

Parking is available in ECU’s Main Campus Parking Garage located behind the Main Campus Student Center, 501 E. 10th Street. The entrance is off of Student Center Drive. (This is the closest visitor parking to Joyner Library and is directly next to the conference site.)

Conference attendees can pre-register for a campus guest parking pass for $5 a day. Guest passes can be requested at this LINK. The parking charge for non-guests is $1.00 per hour and will only accept Credit Cards.

If the parking garage is full, another option is the visitor parking lot on the corner of 5th Street and Harding Street near the main entrance to campus. This lot costs $1 per hour and can be paid using a Credit card or the Parkmobile app. For more information about parking on ECU’s campus, visit https://parking.ecu.edu/visitors/.

HOTEL INFORMATION 

SNCA has secured a block of rooms at two local Greenville hotels for attendees to reserve.

The Residence Inn by Marriott offers guests Studio Suite options with a fully equipped in-suite kitchen, a complimentary hot breakfast buffet, free wi-fi, a fitness center, outdoor seating, and free onsite parking. The Residence Inn by Marriott is a 10 minute drive from ECU’s Joyner Library and within a short distance of great restaurants and attractions.

The Residence Inn by Marriott has set aside 30 rooms for SNCA attendees. Each room will cost $135 plus tax per night, with that rate applicable for May 20-22. You can book your room online HERE or call 252-364-8999 and reference “Society of NC Archivists” when booking to get the group discounted rate. The room block closes on April 10, so book soon!

Additional rooms have been secured at the Best Western Plus Suites of Greenville. Best Western Plus Suites offers guests modernized, suites with interior rooms, hot breakfast and Seattle’s Best Coffee, Whirlpool suites, free wi-fi, and a fitness center. The Best Western Plus Suites of Greenville are an 8 minute drive from ECU’s Joyner Library and within a short distance of great restaurants and attractions.

The Best Western Plus Suites of Greenville has set aside a block of 30 rooms, 20 King Bed Suites and 10 Two Queen Bed Suites, for SNCA attendees. King Bed Suites will cost $125 plus tax per night while Two Queen Bed Suites will cost $135 plus tax per night with that rate applicable for May 20-22. If both hotels are full or you wish to stay elsewhere, many options are within driving distance of East Carolina University’s main campus. Other options include:
